Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. She is best known for her multiple roles on the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). For her role as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was on TV in The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2000), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) and The First Lady (2022). The first time she appeared on screen was 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her professional stage debut was performed at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts in which she was a part-time actress with her mother. She appeared in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese) and was able to help her to be granted an Equity Card. In addition, she appeared in Proof the play created by David Auburn, at the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003. She was also featured in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. She came back to New York after graduating. Between September 29 and October 2, 2004, she performed in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor which was one of a number of one-act shows presented as The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
